About Me

I am a full-stack Software Developer, skilled in Angular for frontend languages and PHP Laravel for creating backend systems.
My love for technology stems from the opportunities that it affords everyone in a constantly evolving and developing world. I believe that technology is at the core of our modern world and continues to provide opportunities that broaden or horizons.
I am also a big believer in creating our own realities and that anyone's dreams are on the other side of hard work. So, never be afraid to put in the work

My Projects

Finsys Banking Systems:
Finsys Banking System. The languages used for this project are Django Rest Framework to create the backend and Angular to create an intuitive and interactive UI.

My role as a frontend developer include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating with other frontend developers to create the system User Interface and best practices for the integration and implementation of the APIs.
  • Partnered with the back-end team in the creation and integration of the developed APIs for the development process.
  • Evaluating code to make sure that it is properly structured and compatible with different devices, browsers, and operating systems
  • Bi-weekly presentations and reports on the project's progress.

ClouDuka:
ClouDuka is a ClouDuka, a digital platform helping merchants in emerging markets build a sustainable digital presence by providing them with a single tool for e-commerce, inventory management and operational analytics. The languages used for this project are Laravel and JavaScript.

My role includes:
  • Conducting performance analysis and making system improvements based on user feedback
  • Revamping various product’s website to create a more captivating and engaging site that captures the attention of the company's audience
  • Integration with internal and third-party API endpoints
  • Evaluating code to make sure that it is properly structured and compatible with different devices, browsers, and operating systems
  • Technical client support for our clients
  • Creating, maintaining and tracking the project's tickets on Jira

Moringa School is a multi-disciplinary learning-accelerator committed to closing the skills gap in Africa’s job market by providing transformative tech-based learning.

At Moringa, I pursued the web development track, starting with Moringa-Prep, a four-week accelerated program which focuses on the basics of web development, that is, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

On completion of Prep, I successfully enrolled into Moringa-Core which is a 16-week program where we focused on building the front-end with Angular and the backend with python, with a focus on Flask and Django frameworks.
